“With any new business, PR should focus on quality, not quantity,” Leila Lewis of Be Inspired PR, told Forbes. “If you want your business to be promoted as the best, then you need to market it that way through top-notch media outlets that have the audience capacity to bring in customers. In terms of social media, just having an account on every platform means nothing unless you’re dedicating the quality time to all of them.”


The Chicago Tribune’s Amina Elahi wrote: “Entrepreneurs should understand how they and their companies fit into larger trends, said Melissa Ballate, founder and president of branding and strategy firm Blue Daring, and Dan O’Brien, president of PR firm Tech Image. ‘What’s most important is you’re trying to develop the story or an idea that the readers are going to care most about,’ O’Brien said. ‘So we’re often aligning our clients’ business or subject matter experts with topical trends and issues or events that are happening around the world.’”
